Learning from my mother not to waste anything if possible... I have a simple way to use all my paint from the tube.  When you can no longer squeeze any more paint from the tube, screw the cap back on and make a diagonal cut in the bottom corner of the tube.  Going from the top, squeeze the remainder of the paint out the bottom.  You will be surprised how much more paint you can get from the seemingly depleted tube.  I use gouache paint, but this method will work for any paint or ink in a tube.
